Visual Pennant Numbers

With time on my hands during 'lockdown' I decided to transcribe the contents of BR619(2) - Distinguishing Pendants and Signal Letters of H.M. Ships,R.F.As.M.F.As., etc. This publication covers the 1944/45 period and its contents have been added to the compilation of Signal Letters (callsigns) ranging from 1891 to 1964. Due to the resulting size of the final document (over 23000 entries) it has been sorted into alphabetical order of ship's names and includes Signal Letters (Callsigns), Pendant Numbers, Class/Type of ship, Ownership and other Remarks. I have tried to include as much information as possible in this file but in order to get all the information onto an A4 size sheet it has been necessary to use the smallest size of font available and therefore when reading these files you may have to use your pdf readers enlarge button to see the text.

The first file contains the instructions and explanations from BR619(2).including a breakdown of the allocation of pendant letters/numbers for that period.
